Berlin comeback on WTA tour

Berlin will make a comeback on the WTA tour with a Premiere Event. From 13-21 June 2020 the Grass Court Championships Berlin will be held at the LTTC Rot-Weiß und the auspices of Chancellor Angela Merkel. The event site can host up to 7,000 spectator in the Steffi-Graf-stadium and will receive three grass courts. Three more courts will be erected near the Olympiapark. The construction of the new grass courts will be made in close cooperation with the experts of the “All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club” from Wimbledon.
