Emma Spitz

Emma Spitz is one of Austria’s most successful golfers and has long since made a name for herself on the international stage. Growing up right next to the golf course at GC Schloss Schönborn, she took up the sport at the age of seven and, within just a few years, developed into one of the country’s most promising talents.

In 2018, Spitz became the first Austrian to win the prestigious Girls’ Amateur Championship and claimed a bronze medal at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. During her time at UCLA, she continued her success in the United States, finishing third at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur and runner-up at the NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championships in 2021.

Emma Spitz turned professional in 2022. She quickly established herself among the leading players on the Ladies European Tour, qualified for the U.S. Women’s Open and achieved her best tour result to date in 2024, finishing second at the Amundi German Masters. That same year, she represented Austria at the Olympic Games in Paris.

With her talent, ambition and remarkable mental strength, Emma Spitz continues to pursue her goal of establishing herself among the world’s elite in golf.
